Alas, the Wizarding World Book Club is nearly at a close, after a year of reading and re-reading the Harry Potter books. Let’s have a trip down memory lane.
Over the past year, you’ve been helping us re-live the Harry Potter books, engaging in fervent online discussions and exploring some of the stories’ most important themes. From Philosopher’s Stone right to the end of Deathly Hallows, you’ve led us to discover new meaning from the books, joined us in weekly discussions, collected awards, and shared your reading experiences with us, wherever you were in the world. Thank you!
From romance to phobias, from humour to Dark magic, the Wizarding World Book Club covered many topics raised from Harry Potter’s adventures, igniting some heavy debates on Twitter along the way.
Well, we did ask you some pretty pressing questions. Here are some of our favourites…

So that’s it! After twelve months, we’ve turned the books inside out and experienced the Harry Potter series in a whole new way. And we hope we introduced a few newcomers into the throng too.
Now, if you missed any of the Wizarding World Book Club, do not fear. You can dig deep into our archives to look at every theme we explored, or you can read our articles exploring every nook and crevice of Harry’s story. Maybe you’d like to start your own Harry Potter-themed book club and start the journey all over again… We certainly never need an excuse to give the books a cheeky re-read.
And all that’s left to say for now is: thank you! Your contributions to the Book Club made the experience all the more magical and we really couldn’t have done it without you.
So, check our Twitter to relive some of our favourite Wizarding World Book Club moments, and join us today for one last debate for old times’ sake.
