Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Concert promises a truly magical moment this July, with the first Harry Potter film being brought to life with a rousing live musical performance.

Audiences will experience the critically acclaimed Royal Scottish National Orchestra conducted by Justin Freer performing John Williams’ iconic score to the entire first film live to picture.

You'll be watching Harry's first adventure on an epic 39ft wide high-definition screen with John Williams' legendary work playing alongside.

Mark Mackie, the representative for Castle Concerts, spoke of his pride at bringing Hogwarts back to Scotland.

‘For many years we have been hoping to bring together three of Scotland’s major gifts to the world; Harry Potter, The Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Edinburgh Castle, for this incredibly special project,' he said. 'We are absolutely delighted that the planets have aligned this year and we are able to present this truly unforgettable experience.'
