With previews of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two starting tomorrow, J.K. Rowling has a message for the audience: ‘keep the secrets’.

Throughout all of the seven books and eight films, Harry Potter fans have always been amazing at protecting the mysteries of the stories for newcomers to the series.

This morning, J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to assign the fans a new mission. Take a look:

Previews for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two begin at the Palace Theatre tomorrow (7 June), and the script will be released on 31 July at 0.01am BST.

J.K. Rowling also explained that this secret was particularly important to keep before the launch of the script book.

Fans are going to experience this unique story in different ways, and at different times. And as they have done so loyally with the Harry Potter books and films, fans are being urged to keep the secrets of the story.

J.K. Rowling has spoken before about keeping the secrets of Cursed Child. ‘One of the things that I have valued most about the Potter fandom is that as a community they have really looked after each other. People have each other’s backs – it’s a special thing,’ she said.

‘This will be such an incredible theatrical experience that I’d love us to be able to surprise people and move people, in the natural way that a story should surprise and move people,' she added.

On that note, we cordially invite you to join the #KeepTheSecrets campaign, so that each and every Harry Potter fan can experience the same excitement and enjoyment whilst watching and reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two for the first time.
