The Pottermore Art Collection is now available in the US

The Pottermore News Team

Good news for American art-lovers and Harry Potter fans alike: from today, the Pottermore Art Collection will be shipping to the US.

The Pottermore Art Collection, previously only available in the UK and EU countries, is now available to US-based fans.

Forty different pieces from a wide range of artists, available as mounted prints and posters, can be purchased, all featuring assorted artistic interpretations of the wizarding world. Specially curated by Pottermore, these pieces range from inspirational quote posters from some of our favourite characters to a series of clever Harry Potter book covers designed by Olly Moss.

...

The posters and prints also include a number of Pottermore Moments; iconic scenes depicted from all seven Harry Potter books that will strike a chord with any Harry Potter aficionado. These include the Hogwarts house common rooms, if you fancy boasting a bit of house pride in your own home, or memorable moments from the stories – such as Harry’s dramatic escape from Gringotts on a dragon, or the iconic flight in Arthur Weasley’s flying Ford Anglia. Take a look at all of the pieces US buyers can purchase here.

Pottermore also went behind the scenes with two artists featured in the collection, Peter Strain and Lesley Buckingham, who explained the creative processes behind their pieces: in Peter’s case, his stunning quote posters framed around abstract imagery, while Lesley took us through her unique paintings of some of our favourite magical creatures.

As you can see, there’s all sorts of artistic magic to choose from. And, in the words of Albus Dumbledore, ‘It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are.’

The Pottermore Art Collection will be available to the US in two forms, as posters sized 18in x 24in, or 16in x 20in mounted prints, and all 40 designs are now available in the Pottermore Shop. If you are UK or EU-based and want to peruse the Pottermore Art Collection, go here for more details.
