Cursed Child will officially begin performances in Australia in January 2019. Here’s everything you need to know about the production and how to get tickets.

Form an orderly (online) queue everybody – because tickets to see Cursed Child in Melbourne are coming. We can also confirm that the play will be opening for preview performances at the Princess Theatre on 16 January, 2019, with the Official Opening on 23 February. A nice way to start the year indeed.

After opening to roaring success in London, and now New York, Melbourne, Australia marks the third big city, not to mention continent, that Cursed Child will be marking as its new home.

Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, the award-winning producers of Cursed Child, were ‘thrilled’ at the news.

‘We’re so thrilled that Melbourne is Cursed Child’s next home and can’t wait to move into the gorgeous Princess Theatre soon,’ they said. ‘Our design team have been working closely with the Princess to renovate and redesign parts of the theatre – to not only make it more comfortable for audiences but add an additional touch of magic to the beautiful landmark. We look forward to sharing more production news over the coming months.’
