J.K. Rowling’s charity Lumos is giving fans the chance to attend the sold-out advance screening of Fantastic Beasts at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York on 12 November.
Lumos has announced a new global prize draw where lucky fans will be given the opportunity to attend an incredibly special advance screening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at Carnegie Hall, complete with an introductory conversation with J.K. Rowling and Eddie Redmayne.
You can wise up on the event right here.
The winner will receive two tickets to the sold-out event, (good luck picking that special someone to come with you!) and depending where they live in the world, will be flown out to New York; the city where Fantastic Beasts is set.
Winners will be put up in the swanky New York Marriott East Side hotel, given two signed copies of the Fantastic Beasts Original Screenplay, and, on top of all that, receive an invitation to the post-screening reception, where you could find yourself rubbing shoulders with members of Fantastic Beasts cast. Phew!
A donation of $10 through the fundraising platform CrowdRise will count as one entry into this global prize draw – which will go towards raising money to reunite children with their families in Haiti, as well as helping vulnerable families in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.
This special evening is all part of the We are Lumos Worldwide campaign, which is organising numerous global events to help support J.K. Rowling’s non-profit organisation.
So, fancy seeing Fantastic Beasts a few days early and catching J.K. Rowling and Eddie Redmayne live on stage? You know what to do.
The Fantastic Beasts Carnegie Hall screening is happening 12 November, and the Crowdrise prize draw will be open until 31 October. To enter the draw and donate to Lumos, go here for more details.
