Come dressed up as your favourite Harry Potter character for brand new costume evenings during Dark Arts throughout October.
Prepare yourselves to face the darkness this Autumn as Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter hosts a special feature dedicated to the Dark Arts.
For two costume evenings, new for Dark Arts this year, visitors are invited to dress as their favourite Harry Potter witch, wizard, Muggle or even creature, starting at 5pm on 6th and 7th October. There will be photo opportunities aplenty as well as giveaways and other thrilling activities.
From Friday 28th September – Saturday 10th November, visitors will again be able to visit the iconic Great Hall, decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins, as seen in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Inspired by Hagrid’s pumpkin patch in Prisoner of Azkaban, each one has been lovingly hand-carved by the Prop Making Department – led by Head Propmaker Pierre Bohanna – so no two are alike. That’s not all – a Hallowe’en feast awaits on the Great Hall tables, filled with the typical treats of the season (but watch your teeth because we understand these will be props!).
After finessing your wand skills in an interactive experience with Wand Choreographer Paul Harris, it will be time to duel Death Eaters in the Studio Tour’s backlot! If you’ve ever wanted to take part in a scene like the Battle of Hogwarts, now’s your chance, as you will be directed through a battle as the Death Eaters storm the bridge.
Not only that, but visitors will be able to get hands-on with some vats of slimy Troll snot, buckets of drool (from one of the series’ canine favourites), and get up close to pools of silvery unicorn blood (and no, it’s not for drinking).
The Studio Tour’s Dark Arts feature will run from Friday 28th September – Saturday 10th November. Tickets must be pre-booked and all extra activities, including the costume evenings, are included in the ticket price. Tickets can be bought here.
